Our plastic-free eco washing-up sponges are made from plant-based cellulose and water — nothing else. They arrive neatly compressed, making them easy to store and compact to transport. Just add a little tap water and watch them spring to life, ready for washing dishes, wiping surfaces and mopping up everyday spills. Use for: Washing dishes, wiping surfaces and everyday cleaning around the home. Squeeze out the excess water and get scrubbing. How long does one sponge last? Our eco sponges are durable and should last around 1–2 months, depending on how frequently you clean. Rinse well after use, squeeze out excess water and leave to dry between uses to help your sponge last longer. When it needs a refresh, pop it in the dishwasher or washing machine at up to 60°C. How to dispose: Our sponges are biodegradable and 100% home compostable. When your sponge has scrubbed its last dish, cut it into smaller pieces and add it to your home compost, where it will naturally break down over time.
